My Journey

I never imagined I would be here, walking alongside others through grief. Life placed me on this unexpected path after the loss of my husband, Michael, in 2022 in a tragic car accident. Michael and I had been in each other’s lives since we were five years old. Over time, that lifelong connection grew into love, and we eventually married. We didn’t just share a marriage, we shared a history, a deep friendship, and a life that shaped who I am today.

For a long time, I believed grief followed a timeline: intense sadness, gradual healing, and eventually a return to “normal.” My own experience taught me something very different. Grief is complex, deeply personal, and non-linear. No two people grieve the same way, and there is no right or wrong way to feel. What I’ve learned through my own loss is this: if you don’t allow yourself to feel, you can’t heal.

Alongside my lived experience, I bring over 30 years of experience in healthcare, a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration and a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership. I am also a Certified Grief Educator. This background allows me to support widows with compassion, structure, and care. while honoring that grief is not something to fix, but something to be held.

I believe deeply in creating a safe, judgment-free space where you can be fully seen, heard, and validated. A space where you don’t have to minimize your pain, rush your healing, or explain why you still hurt. Together, we explore the emotions that are often pushed aside, sadness, anger, guilt, fear, and make room for them with gentleness and honesty.

You don’t have to do this alone.
